In 2020, 40% of full-time students were employed while in school. Additionally, 26% of these full-time students were working 20- 34 hours per week.Decompressing looks different for everyone. For me, the beach is one of the places I find the most peace. Listening to the waves crash, laughing with my friends, and playing beach games always help me unwind.Studies show 70% of all college students are stressed about their grades to some degree.Taking nights to go out to eat and catch up with friends is one of my MUST-dos. Sometimes being around campus reminds me of everything I have going on, so by driving off campus and finding new fun spots, I can forget my stressors and enjoy time with friends.Student organizations provide an outlet for students. It becomes a way to express themselves, find connections with people on campus, and grow as individuals. In some cases, it can also act as a way to find happiness in stressful situations.Being outside and enjoying the sun is CRUCIAL to finding your balance. “Research has linked higher levels of Vitamin D with improved mood and reduced symptoms of anxiety.”
